Project Description: 
This project was special because of the delicate nature, weather sensitivity, and the limited time allotted to complete the work. The liquidated damage clause of $10,000 per day made this rank as one of the most expensive in the history of the WV DOH and the most ever faced by Laurita Inc. at that time. Obviously, we were extremely motivated to complete ahead of schedule.

Chesapeake Energy Jane Lew Field Office

This project was a complete site work contract for Laurita, Inc. The scope included over 130,000CY excavation, 2000LF of storm sewer, 2000LF of water line, sanitary sewer, gas line and relocated erosion control measures. The work was required to be substantially completed within a 90 day period in order for Pray Construction sufficient time to construct the office building. Due to great weather and tremendous efforts by the field crew this feat was accomplished.
